Well I'm a DBZ fan but this is a little strange. I'll wait till this hits DVD to rent it and I guess if they say that's Goku then I have to take their word for it. NOBODY LOOKS THE BLOODY SAME! Reminds me more of Wòhǔ Cánglóng or Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Personally I rather watch Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior over this.

This movie has potential failure written all over it. I have been a fan of DB and DBZ since it first made it's way to the states. To make this movie with characters which don't exist in the anime version and to change the storyline like this appears to do, is just as bad as what FOX did with the MAX PAYNE movie and JJ Abrams is doing to TREK. I have lost just about all faith in this industry.
I just fear that like the FOX abortion and the new OLD TREK , this movie will do well becuase the studios apparently believe that they can take any IP and make loads of cash of of it. And the public in general will eat it up.
Meanwhile good movies like WATCHMAN get swallowed alive by the studios in their pathetic attempt to control what gets released.

The concept of the movie about Goku being a american teen is pretty lame, There were a few attempts on maikng a live action movie out of games and most are failures... remember street fighter?

Ok.....I'm a fan of the series and all and I've watched every thing up to to GT (Grand Tour) but the "real" movie just looks stupid, it could never measure up to the ANIMATED series I fell in love with.

I'm pretty sure this is a fake trailer, but it's convinced many people. Wonder why the white boy actor for Goku is a nobody? It's because He Is Some Nerd Playing A Trick On You, and thought it would be funny to dress up like Goku and take the piss out of DBZ using a bunch of B-stock film reels he bought on Ebay. Proof: If u look at the symbol on goku's back side ways it says 1337.
