This new technology has got to come, with the looming scarcity & increasing price of petrol.
Carbon fibre technology is encouraging as a weight saver & has been proved to be safe.
I do not need to drive a 21/2 ton car to get to my destination but I also want something stylish & not too small.
I think carrying enough hydrogen to get a decent range at the required low temperatures will be a serious problem.
I think the use of compressed natural gas would be easier & safer & could be combined as an electric hybrid.
Converting one form of fuel to another is so wasteful & costly I cannot see how it will succeed affordably.
And it is carried by a giant tortoise.
