If you are into maths and have done it in high school/uni then this is for you!
This was fascinating and has me hungry for more. I think it useful to note that this lecture also quickly surveys the milestones of the history of math, and that it is more concerned with pure math than applied math. Also, despite the title, there is no relation to or discussion of chaos theory or random number generation.
Mathematics lecture that explores uncomputable numbers and their implications, for example, they cannot be compressed. If you would like a tune up of the types of numbers and mathematical theories, including those of Turing, then watch this 320 x 240 AVI file.
