Battle of Long Tan Documentary Clip
This is a clip from our critically acclaimed and award winning documentary on the Battle of Long Tan which took place on 18 August 1966 in South Vietnam. 108 young Australian and New Zealand soldiers fought and defeated more than 2,500 Viet Cong and NVA in a rubber plantation called Long Tan. 18 Australians were killed and 21 wounded with more than 500 VC and NVA killed and more than 1,000 wounded. We are now making it into a major feature film which is being written and directed by Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Breaker Morant, Double Jeopardy).
