Inauguration 2009 - Barack Obama Presidential Inauguration
Obama addressed a huge crowd estimated at nearly 2 million people on Washington D.C.'s Capital's Mall with millions of others watching on television across America and around the world. Obama addressed the multiple crises now afflicting America at a time of war abroad and economic turmoil at home. But he sought to rally Americans to a "new era of responsibility" and the promise of a brighter future.
