Giraffe Birth at the SF Zoo

The Zoo is thrilled to welcome not one, but two giraffe calves into the world. The first of these delightful and plucky animals was born on May 9th 2006 and the second was born on May 18th 2006. They are the first giraffes to be born in the Zoo's African Savanna.
