Wildlife podcast, week 39-40
This week's wildlife podcast showcases some of the week's most evocative footage from the Earth-Touch crews. In Blyde Canyon white-breasted cormorants are shown nesting in the trees and a pair of green milkwood locusts are microscopically filmed, their mechanical system shown in detail. From footage of swimming up-close to a southern right whale to watching waddling penguins brave the rough seas, the Earth-Touch team explores the coast of the Western Cape in South Africa.
They also travel to Ecuador, South America, where the various sights and sounds of this area is captured. To conclude playful elephants give life to the dry landscape of Meno A Kwena in the Kalahari Desert and noisy bee-eaters move frenetically among the red cliffs of Botswana.
