Australia, Adelaine / Flinders Ranges
Flinders Range National Park is outside of Adelaide. The northern ranges hosts a wilderness sanctuary and are renowned for the discovery in 1946 of some of the oldest fossils evidence of animal life, with the sites being kept strictly secret. The eradication of the dingos creation of permanent waterholes has increased the number of red kangaroos, western grey kangaroos and euros. Cave paintings, rock engravings and other artifacts are evidence of the Adnyamathana people who have lived there for tens of thousands of years.
