"Nightmare on Film Street" Movie (Cinequest Film Festival!)

This fifteen minute comedy/horror short tells the story of one night in the lives of film buffs Mary and Norman, who recently moved in together. Like most new couples they have uncertainties about their future. In their dreams they star in parodied scenes from familiar movies, but with unexpected and unpleasant endings.

Norman dreams he’s trying to keep Mary from jumping off the stern of the Titanic but it turns out she is not the one needing saving. Mary’s farewell to Richard at the end of Casablanca does not go at all as she wishes.

However, these dreams are just the warm-up. The ones to come are far more deadly, horrifying – and comical.
